About Yuin Chien
Yuin Chien is a Taiwanese American designer, creative coder, and ceramic artist based
in San Francisco. With 16+ years of experience leading design initiatives
both in-house and as a consultant, she partners with companies like Anthropic, Google, Stripe to transform complex software
into beautiful and innovative experiences.
While her professional work balances a distinct minimalist aesthetic
with functional clarity, her creative tools, experimental typography and ceramics lean into play and curiosity. Her work is a continuous exploration of how
code, graphic design, and physical craft inform and shape one another.
